The effectiveness of your holster greatly depends on how securely it attaches to your belt. A well-fitted clip ensures stability, eliminating any unnecessary movement for a more comfortable and reliable carry experience.

Belt Clip Options for AIWB/IWB Holsters

1. Injection Molded Polymer Belt Clip

   • Description: Our standard option, this classic plastic belt clip balances rigidity with ease of removal. Available in two sizes—1.5” and 1.75”—it is designed to match the thickness of your belt for optimal performance.
   • Recommendation: For the best fit, choose a clip size that matches your belt width—1.5” clips for 1.5” belts, and 1.75” clips for 1.75” belts. This clip is the default option for all AIWB/IWB holsters.

2. Discreet Carry Concepts (DCC) Monoblock Clip

   • Description: Our most popular upgrade, the DCC Monoblock is a metal clip offering enhanced rigidity and a more secure grip on the belt compared to the standard plastic clip. It works exceptionally well with thinner gun belts but is also compatible with any standard 1.5” belt.
   • Availability: The DCC Monoblock can be selected during the holster customization process or purchased separately from our replacement parts page. It’s also available without the ANR Design logo for a more discreet look. Note: This clip is offered in a 1.5” size only.

3. Alias by Neomag

   • Description: The Alias is the latest innovation in belt mounting systems. It features a two-piece design: a T-Post “clip” attached to your holster and a receiver mounted on your belt. The T-Post locks into the receiver, creating an exceptionally secure and rigid connection.
   • Usage: The Alias system can be added to your holster during the customization process or purchased separately to retrofit existing holsters. Note: The receiver is required for the Alias system to function. For more details on how it works, check out the instructional video by Neomag.

4. Polyester Soft Loop with Strut

   • Description: For those needing a tuckable option, the polyester soft loop with strut offers a discreet and secure carry. The black polyester loop, paired with a snap, can be hidden behind a shirt, making it ideal for formal or professional attire.
   • Application: This option is standard on our revolver holsters but can also be selected for non-lightbearing IWB holsters. It’s particularly well-suited for smaller, single-stack or sub-compact pistols.
