2 min. readlast update: 08.21.2024

The Nidhogg stands out as one of our flagship holsters, known for its versatile and innovative design. This holster is engineered to accommodate a variety of mounting solutions, including the Safariland QLS Fork, G-Code RTI hanger, and Blade Tech Tek-Lok (please note that Blade Tech mounting options are not included with your order).

Crafted with precision, the Nidhogg is CNC cut and vacuum formed, ensuring a perfect fit and exceptional accuracy. Every Nidhogg holster from ANR Design comes standard with optic cut, suppressor height sight compatibility, and readiness for threaded barrels, making it an ideal choice for those who demand versatility and performance.

When customizing your Nidhogg holster, you have the option to choose between a partial system or a complete drop-leg setup, allowing you to tailor the holster to your specific needs and preferences.

Components for Creating a Full Drop-Leg System

To build a complete drop-leg system, we offer the following components:

  • ANR Thigh Band: A versatile upgrade compatible with Safariland QLS, Blade Tech, and some G-Code belt-mounted tactical holsters. This retrofit thigh band features an adjustable circumference with a regulating strap and a quick-release buckle for easy on-and-off convenience.

  • Vastus System: A lightweight thigh band modification designed to work with any drop-leg system that uses a Safariland hole pattern. The Vastus System positions the thigh strap below the holster and belt mount, providing a more comfortable fit by preventing the strap from riding up your leg.

  • The Fulcrum: A lightweight thigh band mod engineered to work with any drop-leg system featuring a Safariland hole pattern. Using the bottom hole as the pivot point, the Fulcrum keeps your thigh strap dropped below the holster and belt mount for enhanced comfort and ensures the strap remains perpendicular to the leg, preventing discomfort or bunching.

  • Tactical Belt Mount Solution: This solution allows for maximum cant adjustment on a holster system. Many Safariland ALS holsters have a fixed 15-degree forward cant, which can lead to the ingress of debris into the optics shroud, potentially rendering the optic unusable. Our tactical belt mount system enables a -5 degree rearward cant adjustment for any fixed 15-degree forward cant Safariland-style holster. It features rotational slots compatible with both Safariland and Blade Tech hole patterns.

  • Safariland QLS 22 Female Receiver: Designed to accept the QLS 19 Locking Fork, this receiver is made from durable injection-molded nylon and can be mounted on platforms such as tactical leg shrouds, belt loops, walls, or any other stable location.
